Winter Kick-off at the “5ive Alpspitzpark”
On the weekend of December the 17th 2010 the Alpspitzbahn inaugurated the new extension of the combined mountain railway: now it is not necessary anymore to change to a one-chairlift to get to the summit of the Alpspitze – pure luxury! Also the time has come when the 5ive Alpspitzpark delivers first insight into the new season, will open its doors and invite everybody to shred the new obstacles. … Read Full Story Besides the new boxes and rails in the snowpark there will be a special „Kidspark“ this year, where all young snowboard rookies can show what they are made of. For all nature lovers the new „Woodpark“ will be ready as a natural playground to jib for all one´s worth. Another highlight will be the brandnew kickerline where a lot of airtime is granted. The snowpark can be reached by a speedy t-bar lift or by Germany´s first combined mountain railway.
Come around – it is really worth it, as the Alpspitzbahn has the perfect transport connection. It is situated next to the Autobahn A7 which guarantees the quicker access to the ultimate fun in the snowpark. Leave the Autobahn, follow the connecting road to the parking lot, put on your boots and just after five minutes you can gear up in the in-run. Not only the snowpark but also the floodlight has been extended and brightens up the whole slope daily from 6 to 9 pm. For only 16 Euros the dream of after-work-jibbing will come true. But wait, there´s more! In case there is no snow from the sky the 5ive Alpspitzpark now even gets more artificial snow out of 5 snow lances. Cheap ticket prices, short queue times and stressless shredding are on the agenda at the Alpspitze.
With the new partners Burton and Pleasure the event-calendar is full of several highlights. After the park-opening between Christmas and Twelfth Day, the 5ive Barbecue, which is the second tourstopp of the Quiksilver Wir Schanzen on January the 8th 2011 as well as the Youngstars Challenge on January the 16th 2011, stay tuned to more surprises on February and March.
